By Car

From the South

Follow the A9 to Inverness.  Do not take the first turning off to Inverness.  Carry on up to the Kessock Bridge.  Take the first left at the roundabout immediately before the bridge.  Follow signs for the A862 (Beauly Tourist Route).  Stay on the A862 through three roundabouts and then across the bridge over the River Ness.  At the next roundabout take the last exit on the right.  You are now in Telford Street.  Come through two sets of traffic lights and you'll see Mr Chips on the left at the second set of traffic lights.  Lyndon is the fourth house on the right after this.

From the North

Follow the A9 to the Kessock Bridge and once you've crossed the bridge follow directions as above.

From the East

Follow the A96 to the Millburn Roundabout just outside Inverness, where the road goes under the A9.  At this roundabout take the last exit on the right back up onto the A9 going north.  Carry on up to the Kessock Bridge.  Then as above.

From the West

Follow the A82 to Inverness.  Turn left at golf course into General Booth Road.  Follow this road till you come to a roundabout.  Turn right here, cross the canal bridge, straight through another roundabout and you will be on Telford Street.  Our house is about 100 yards down the road on the left opposite Lidl supermarket.  You will see the Lyndon B&B sign.

By Train

Trains run to Inverness from Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Wick, Kyle of Lochalsh, with connections from the rest of the UK.  For timetables see the Scotrail website.  From the train station take a taxi to 50 Telford Street. (cost around 2 pounds)

By Bus

Buses run to Inverness from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Portree, Ullapool, Aberdeen, Fort William with connections from the rest of the UK.  For timetables see the Citylink website.  From the bus station take a taxi to 50 Telford Street. (cost around 2 pounds)

By Air

Inverness airport is served by British Airways, Easy-Jet, Scot Airways, with services from Glasgow, Stornoway, London, Amsterdam.  For flight details use the Highlands and Islands Airports flight finder.  A taxi from the airport will cost around 10-15 pounds.

There is car hire at Europcar Hire just 15 minutes walk from our house. (Tel: 01463-235337)

Bike Hire

Bicycle hire is available from us.  We are agents for Scottish Cycling Holidays who organize cycle tours through the Great Glen and the Moray Coast Whisky Trail.  Please contact them if you wish to hire a bike, and you will be able to collect the bike here.
